Ellen ottman (she/her), LMFT
I am passionate about helping people find ways to live their lives more fully. I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy - believing that the mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected and equally important parts of the journey towards healing and integration.
My capacity to be grounded, compassionate, and curious allows me to create a safe space for my clients to feel supported in looking inward, tapping into their body’s innate wisdom, and talking about challenging things.
My work is rooted in a deep understanding of trauma, sexual trauma, and the intersectionality of identities. I have experience supporting a wide variety of clients, but as a queer person, I am passionate about working with other LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples/relationships.
Outside of being a therapist, I spend my time training martial arts, cooking elaborate meals, watching competition reality television, walking my dog DD, & climbing rocks. I am currently living in Los Angeles, California which is on the traditional territory of the Tongva people.
